Administrative Council

You find out about these updates through the president’s emails or other communications by the university. Not every appointment is added to the Administrative Council so check with Mike Meagher before making any edits. Mike works with Carol Koncsol for this information.

  1. Add the task to Projtrack for notification purposes.
  2. Write up the changes for the lab. Make sure you include the new phone number, website address, and email address if available. You may need to call the Dean’s office for this information.
  3. Find an image for the new appointee. You can usually find one in the media release on Medrel. Send the lab a link to copy the image from for the HTML listing. If you don’t have one you can still list it with an “image to come” box that the lab can supply.
  4. Send the copy to be proofread.
  5. Review any proofreading edits with Mike Meager.
  6. Send corrected copy is sent to the lab so they can build the HTML pages.
  7. Once the pages are built and you have checked them, send Mike Meagher a link for his review.
  8. Once he approves, note this in Projtrak with the request to make the changes live.
  9. Note these changes in FileMakerPro.
