Content Responsibilities

The table below delineates which sections of the catalog the school and Creative Services must complete. Certain categories of information are required to be included in the catalog by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. Many of these categories can be accommodated by a URL placed on the front page of the catalog (URL OK). In cases where the school has unique information that differs from the policies set forth on webpages linking from the homepage, the data must appear in the appropriate catalog chapter (e.g., specific admissions requirements or special scholarships/financial aid awards offered only to students in that school).

Catalog boilerplate copy consists of universitywide policies and procedures that are included in every Rutgers catalog. The catalog editor ensures that this material is updated biennially and is vetted by university experts. The most recent list of experts can be found at GROUPS>Creative Services>Karen Imperiale>Boilerplate Copy 2018-2020>Catalog Boilerplate Contacts 18-20. The copy is collected in a single boilerplate copy WORD file for copying and pasting into a catalog under revision. Any corrections or changes to the boilerplates after this document is published are communicated by the catalog editor via email.
